Jake Tankersley grew up in Sand Springs, OK. At a very young age he developed a love for music. Specifically for Johnny Cash , George Jones , Roger Miller and Elvis Presley. Fast forward 20 years and he received a Golden Ticket to Hollywood on American Idol in 2016 and made top 200. In 2018 he released his first full length album, The Little Things. He has released several Singles since then as he played music regionally in Oklahoma. In 2024 he received a 4 Chair Turn on Season 26 of The Voice where he made all the way to Playoffs. Snoop Dogg was his Coach and then Gwen Stefani . As of 2025 he is now full time in the music industry and playing shows nationwide while also recording in Nashville working on his upcoming record.
